*Where do you ship?

Currently, we have delivery available in the USA.

 

*When will I receive my order?

Once you are billed for your order, it typically takes 0-3 business days to ship and an additional 4 (approximately) business days to arrive. Please follow your packages progress via your tracking number for “real time tracking”.

 

*What is your return or exchange policy?

We have a 30-day return policy – you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

*When can I anticipate my refund?

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@shrimpleys.com.

 

Where are Shrimp Snaps made?

Our shrimp are grown in the U.S., raised in Balaton, MN, and freeze dried in Wales, WI.

 

How many Shrimp Snaps can I give my Pet per Day?

This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental treating only. Shrimp Snaps treats are not recommended to exceed more than 10% of your pet’s daily calories needed. Always observe your pet when treating.

 

How should I Store my Shrimp Snaps?

Store in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight. After opening, squeeze out air and reseal to preserve freshness.

 

What if my Pet has Allergies?

Freeze-dried shrimp is a safe and excellent option for dogs and cats with food allergies to common proteins like chicken, beef, salmon, or lamb. Shrimp is considered a novel protein, meaning it’s a protein source that a dog or cat has not been exposed to before. Novel proteins are often recommended for dogs or cats with food allergies because their immune system is less likely to recognize them as a threat. Which again means it’s less likely to trigger food sensitivities. This makes it easier for pet owners to monitor their dog’s or cat’s diet. While uncommon, some dogs or cats may be sensitive to shellfish. If you are concerned about food allergies, it’s important to introduce freeze-dried shrimp slowly and monitor for any signs of intolerance, such as itching, digestive upset, or ear infections. If your dog or cat has never had shrimp before, and you are concerned about food allergies, start with a small amount and gradually incorporate it as a treat while watching for any reactions.

 

There are crumbs at the bottom of the bag, is that normal?

Yes, this is a normal result of the freeze-drying process. Sprinkle them on top of your pet’s food as a flavor enhancer. Your pet will thank you!
